Koko the Gorilla Interviewed By Joe Hill LTD Project
Koko is a world famous gorilla who has been taught to sign in the hearing impaired hand sign language. Koko is 25 years old and has remarkable understanding of the life events of her fellow hominids. Koko is just happy that she has friends and family and a world without heartless bosses. The Joe Hill LTD Project dispatched Ms. CM Hill (no relation) formerly of the Basic Rights Coalition of Oregon and now one of several "signers" working with the Kerry Campaign.
CM Hill took about an hour to go over the basic proposal from LTD in sign language. Koko got onto the proposal concepts quickly and had formed an objective opinion that she wanted to explain. Here is her interview;
Hill: Koko the LTD workers are working without a contract. What do you think about that?
Koko: No Contract - boo!
Hill: Why are you so upset about this?
Koko: Fairness to workers is a core value. LTD apparently has no moral center and is attempting to exploit workers. This basic management proposal is a real screw job. Ya know what I mean?
Hill: Yes I do but do you know what exploit workers means?
Koko: Give me a %$*&%$@ break!
Hill: What do you think LTD workers should do about the Union?
Koko: Support the Union. Koko loves the union. My union has increased my daily banana quotient and I am even getting citrus regularly now. I have made real progress in the last 25 years. But it was not until they heard my words and knew that I meant business.
Hill: Oh! You sound passionate about this.
Koko: Koko is. Koko loves her union.
Hill: The LTD proposal is being forwarded by the General Manager Hamm...
Koko: Hamm very bad!
Hill: Do you have medical coverage?
Koko: Oh yeah, full coverage for me and my kitty. We can choose our own doctor and there are no co-pays. It is a deluxe plan. Plus dental. Still trying for vision plan but I don't read much but sign language. Maybe next time. The folks here really are concerned about kitty's and my health. I guess because we are helping out so much with their work around here.
Hill: We are just about out of time... A man at LTD named Pangborn once is supposed to have said trained monkeys could drive buses. What do you think?
Koko: Well monkeys might be able to do it, but their union is more shrewd than any I know in the hominid world. They are very expensive. Besides monkeys are mostly in management - they are very ambitious you know. I also don't mean to be critical but monkeys lack important customer service skills. When they get frustrated they tend to fling their excrement on customers.
Hill: Too much information Koko...
Koko: Sorry but I could go on and on about stereotyping workers.
Hill: On behalf of the workers at LTD and the Joe Hill LTD Project we thank you for your time.
Koko: No problem. Give them my best wishes. Please ask them to support Gorilla Habitat Protection. This is my primary personal charity. Bye.
The Joe Hill LTD Project thanks Koko for interupting her busy schedule to be interviewed on the LTD situation. Our special thanks to Ms. CM Hill for volunteering for the signing.

Joe, you have now turned the conflict between ATU and LTD into "gorilla warfare".
